Mr. Dalbery is an accomplished care management executive with full-cycle leadership capabilities. He has had over two decades of health services experience spanning the HMO, PPO, TPA and Physician Practice Management industries with focus on strategic planning and business development in both the commercial and government sectors. Mr. Dalbery was a founder of Heritage Health Plan and Health Access, Inc., a multi-state PPO. In July of 2013, Dean was tapped from SBA’s Board of Directors to serve as its Interim CEO. In January, 2014 he was appointed as Susan B. Anthony’s permanent Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining SBA, Michael served as Chief Operating Officer at the Broward Partnership for the Homeless. A 23 year veteran in the Human Services field, he is a Certified Addictions Professional, Certified Mental Health Professional, Nationally Credentialed Victim Services Professional, and Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor. Michael completed his clinical training at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia-Cornell Medical Center. After relocating to Florida, he served as a Commander at the Broward County Sheriff’s Office where he held various assignments including Victim Services, the Drug Court Treatment Program, and County Probation.
Whitney has over a decade of experience in the substance abuse treatment field and is currently Associate Director of Marketing for SBA. Whitney oversees the SBA website, printed materials, social media, special events and community outreach. She provides tours of our center and presentations to community agencies. She has a background in psychology and is a Certified Addictions Counselor. Whitney has a passion for helping those suffering from addiction and educating the community about the disease.
Telena comes to SBA currently as a PhD candidate, having dual Master Degrees in both Education and Criminal Justice, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a Minor in Sociology. Formerly Vice President of Education for Toast Master’s International, she has over 10 years experience as a college professor. Telena is currently the Director of Community and Grant Development at SBA. Responsible for oversight of grant development, fundraising activities to include major gift solicitation, planned giving and endowment for the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center.
Mr. Pena brings more than 20 years of successful career and business leadership in the accounting and finance area to SBA. Prior to joining SBA, Mr. Pena was the Finance Director at All Media Supply, LLC where he was responsible for managing the accounting and finance decisions for the company. Mr. Pena has focused his career in establishing a successful business relationship with vendors and customers. He was also actively involved in the implementation of financial models to accelerate the company’s growth. He has a background in business administration and holds a bachelor degree in accounting.
Ashleigh comes to SBA Recovery Center with a decade of experience in behavioral health and 4 years of specific substance abuse training. Ashleigh is a Certified Addiction Professional with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is currently working on her master’s in Clinical Social Work at Florida Atlantic University. Ashleigh oversees all of the assessments, admissions and intake processes at the Susan B.Anthony Recovery Center. Ashleigh collaborates with outside agencies to ensure that the needs of the community are being met..
Christopher is the Associate Director of the Career and Adult Education Department at SBA. He has extensive managerial experience within the field of higher education and psychology. Christopher has an M.S. in Counseling and Psychology from Trinity International University and a B.A. in Speech Communications from the University of Georgia. He currently is a mental-health intern working towards becoming a licensed-practitioner.
Mr. Siddiqiis responsible for the overall direction, management and operations of the Career and Vocational Department. His career encompasses over two decades of managerial experience to nonprofit and for profit organizations in various capacities. He has worked as Head of Marketing with Novartis Pharmaceuticalsand travelled across the globe for training and business purposes. When he realized he has a passion to give back to the community, he accepted the challenge and changed his career path.Mr. Siddiqi holds an M.B.A from Nova Southeastern University, Florida. He also has two master degrees in Economics and Indian History with a B.S. in Biological Sciences.
Ms. Crudup, a graduate of Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center in 1998, has held the positions as a Residential Specialist, Case manager/Peer Mentor and now currently Residential Services Manager. She is also a Certified Addiction Counselor who plans on continuing her education in Social Work. Sonya is dedicated to providing structure and support to the women and children that we serve and also shares her experience, strength and hope with the persons served living with the disease of addiction.
With over 15 years of experience working at non-profit organizations in the human services field, Olivia is currently the Associate Director of Outpatient Services. She also oversees Aftercare and Case Management Services.Having a passion for helping families in the community lead her to attain her Master’s Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Olivia continues to apply her experience, passion, and desire to provide help to people within the community; especially those experiencing issues with mental health and substance abuse
Brendin comes to SBA with nearly 10 years of working in the non-profit and for-profit sectors in the healthcare, infectious disease and management training fields. He has his Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in administration, health care and the law. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh in Afro-Feminist Cultural Anthropology.
