Residential and Outpatient Addiction Treatment for Pregnant Women & Mothers with Children

Letter From The CEO

Dean Dalbery CEODear Friends,
At Susan B Anthony Recovery Center, we’ve undergone a remarkable transformation. Our new website is indicative of our ever-expanding role in the recovery community with new leadership, bold plans for the future and exciting new programs and services.

We’re pleased to announce that we have recently increased our capacity to serve more of the most vulnerable among us – pregnant and/or parenting women who suffer from substance abuse, mental health disorders and trauma.

Mothers seeking rehabilitation often face a seemingly insurmountable obstacle – who will care for their children? At SBA, mothers with children are welcomed with opened arms. Every day we strive to remove the barriers of entry for women seeking addiction treatment, prevent the foster care placement of their children, and end the cycle of addiction and abuse for their families.

Housed on a beautiful 5.5 acre campus in Pembroke Pines, Florida (a suburb of nearby Hollywood / Ft. Lauderdale) SBA serves more than sixty families on-site. Thanks to the recent addition of satellite housing, we have increased our capacity to serve many more!

SBA is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). In our 20 years of operation, we remain one of the few full-service recovery centers in the country where a woman can receive all the support she needs, while living with and caring for her children.

We have an unparalleled array of gender-specific adult and children programs. Our successful outcomes can be attributed to a world-class team of behavioral professionals who offer an integrated model that addresses mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring illnesses.

Our new website contains a wealth of information about how you can contribute to, and benefit from, Susan B. If you have any questions whatsoever, or if we may be of assistance in any way, please do not hesitate to contact our Development Manager, Whitney Hughson, at (954) 733- 6068, Ext. 2012.

Sincerely,
Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center
