Residential and Outpatient Addiction Treatment for Pregnant Women & Mothers with Children

GENERAL ADMISSIONS INFORMATION

We offer substance addicted mothers and pregnant women a safe place to start again and keep their families together in residential units as both mother and child receive much needed treatment and support. We also provide Outpatient services as well.

If you have private insurance, or you’re not sure if your insurance covers our services, please call our toll-free number 866-641-8986 so we can verify your benefits and eligibility.  There is no cost for this and we are happy to help.

If you live in Broward County, you may qualify for residential treatment at no cost to you.  We have several programs that you may qualify for at our center.  Simply fill out our application and fax it to our admissions department, or give us a call and we will fill it out with you on the phone.

We will contact you once we have received your application and set-up an interview.  Our admissions staff are waiting to hear from you and have the answers to all your admissions questions.

Concerned about pending court dates, or possible jail time, and need help with your addiction?  Help is just a phone call away, and we may be able to help advocate for you to your judge or probation officer.

WHAT TO BRING

Although we you will be living in an apartment space can be limited at times. We encourage you to bring the essentials and keep personal items to a minimum. We allow you to bring 2 medium size bins of items PER PERSON (this is only to give you an idea of size), this can include:

  • Hygiene products
  • Clothing
  • Shoes
  • Make-up
  • Alarm Clock
  • Toys
  • Other essential items for living
  • Misc. (portable DVD player for age appropriate children only)

Outside of the bins you are able to bring bedding (sheets, pillow, comforter) and food items.  If you do not have any of these items we will provide them for you if necessary.

Items NOT allowed:

  • Hair dye
  • Energy Drinks
  • Certain Supplements and Teas
  • Narcotic medication, addictive substances, or illegal drugs of any kind
  • Incense or candles (no open flame allowed in apartment)

Cell phone use may be limited.  Personal vehicle use may be limited.  All medications will be kept in nursing department including over-the-counter medications.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We provide apartment-style accommodations to you and your child(ren) that are fully furnished with a full size kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, and dining room.  There are also single family units for families with 3 children.

During the week you will have a daily schedule of therapeutic, education, vocation, and recreational groups.  You are assigned a case manager and therapist that you see weekly.  We can help you to get government assistance, register to vote, replace state id/Social Security Card/Birth Certificate, link you to housing upon discharge, and apply for childcare.

On the weekends are visitation hours, 12 step meetings, pass time, and fun activities that the whole community participates in.
